Suzuki 400 Burgman 2017 and newer

I give this Back Rest 5*****'s
As shown in the title I have a serious Spinal Issue and riding my bike was agonisong after 30 minutes.
I "downgraded" to a Burgman for its 'StepThru' properties.
The Suziki Back Rest did nothing to help.
I purchased this seat back rest and it only took 4 days to arrive from America to the UK, but be aware that you'll get stung for 'import' Taxes at Customs. My bill was £77.00 extra and that'll change depending on what mood Trump is in .
I adjusted the Back Rest for what I call 'MotorWay Mode'
Feet up and able to push my lower back into the seat gaining incredible support which relaxes my upper back and the pain levels by a huge margin.
The Back Rest itself took 10/15 minutes to install. Getting the bloody seat off took an Hour by that's a me issue not down to Utopia.
The seat is seriously comfortable and now and i'm up to just under 3 Hours of riding before the pain becomes intolerable.
If you have back pain, I can not sate how much this back rest helps and the differnce it makes is HUGE.
Expensive after shipping and Taxes costs but worth every single Penny of it.

If you're reading this, you are likely hesitant like I was to spend your hard earned money on a scooter seat accessory. I am here to tell you, it's totally worth it! I have had it for 2 weeks on my 2022 Suzuki Burgman 400, I have put 1,000 miles on this seat attachment already because it makes the bike so much more comfortable. Installation is a little scary because you have to cut 2 small holes through the seat, it took me all of 15 minutes to install this to my bike. After the scary drilling of my seat, I put the bolts through and tightened them down with no issue, hardware is nice and the plate comes pre threaded for simplicity. There are 2 adjustment points, one at the base of the seat (to help short riders like me 5'7") and one at where the seat and support post meet. The material of the seat matches the stock seat in appearance and the quality of the fabric/leather used feels nice. If you have a stock windshield you know wind likes to sneak past the side of the fairing and push your core back, this backrest relieves that pressure. I have put 300 miles on this backrest in 1 drive (with 1 fuel stop, sub 5 minutes) with no issues. The seat rest does not move on its own due to stress or vibrations, you have to intentionally move it by loosening the bolts adjusting the seat and tightening up the bolts again. Overall this is a 5/5 star product, the only issue I have is it makes the bike so comfortable I ignore my other scoot (2026 Honda ADV160).

Readers; Here are the Views of this Product from one who is 'wrench challenged' I bought this for my '08 Burgman 4oo. I was more than skittish of cutting and drilling the expensive seat; but in the end, I did get it on. The directions are very good. I would say, the seat can be left on the Burgman, in fact its easier with it in place. You can see where the parts go, and the seat does not move when you drill. In the end, it works very well, even with a riding coat with a back armor plate. BUY ONE for yourself and see.
