This is a high quality product that matched my old 1998 Honda Magna VF750C perfectly! Also purchased the comfort pad but felt it was too big for my back. So I contacted Andy and he offered to swap it out for the Sport smaller sized pad. Super easy to install, and it matches my R18 seat perfectly. Easily adjustable to the best riding position, or quickly adjustable if you want to change where it sits during a trip. Definitely worth it.

I was trailering my 23 Goldwing and when I got to my destination the back rest was gone. I was extremely elated that I could replace the back rest at a nominal cost. Lesson learned, remove the back rest when trailering.
I ordered the Sport version of Utopias backrest and at 6’3” with a slightly longer torso I have the backrest in its highest position. This bar cover is a nice finishing touch! With the backrest in its lower position the backrest bag covers the bracket almost entirely (2022 BMW Transcontinental with factory high seat) so wouldn’t be noticeable. For $18 its money well spent as far as I am concerned.

I have used utopia backrest since my first bike in 1993. Always been satisfied. They are very well made and sturdy. Definitely not flimsy.

Feels well made and good support. Installation went good. A few more higher quality installation pictures would have been helpful. It would be an improvement to be able adjust by hand. Or at least all one tool. Otherwise you have to bring 4 separate tools to adjust or remove.
This is a very well crafted piece. The backrest mounting bracket is thick gauge steel so it isn’t going to flex or bend. The leather is a match to my factory seat including the white stitching. I like the simple adjustability of this backrest. I knew that visually I wanted the “sport” pad which is the same width as the standard pad just not as tall; I just wasn’t sure if it was going to give me the desired amount of support. I am glad with my decision to go with the “sport” version. I haven’t even adjusted the pad to its highest position yet and it is more than adequate. I think I will try the higher position though and see if I like it any better. Very satisfied customer. I decided not to go with the quick release. If I want to take the backrest off it is simply one nut and bolt to remove.
This is what my bike was missing. With the addition of the utopia backrest, it finally feels complete.
My only advice; keep something in the storage pouch on the back, otherwise it’ll turn into a Superman cape behind you on the interstate. Scared the heck out of me the first time it smacked me in the back.
I got the larger of the two options. Installed in minutes. Very comfortable and on my first over hour ride I could tell this was the right choice. Still working on the height adjustment to find out exactly where I want it. I will say at 6'2" with long arms it's set all the way back.
I called the company first as I had a few questions. They were professional, and friendly. I ordered the product, and it arrived in less than a week. Easy to Install and adjust. I would Highly Recommend this product.
This is my second one,first was for a RT,this one for a F3 and love both of them!!! So much better than original Spyder backrest. These are taller,wider and more comfortable and hit your back in the right spot. You CANNOT go wrong!!!!
They certainly everything that I needed plus simple instructions, to follow it was a great addition to the motorcycle very comfortable
Brought my Back rest and quick release with bar cover I’m in the Uk and really do wish they had an out let here .
But after say that it was fast getting it here and very well made. Still not on the bike yet but will be very soon so thanks
