This was my second purchase of a Utopia Drivers Backrest.I got this one for a 2021 Indian Challenger. The one Indian sells it about $100 more and doesn't adjust like this one. The Challenger one does not offer the quick out option yet, but I can't think of why I would remove it now. I will always ride with it. Lots of adjustments to fit the way you want it to. Very comfortable. I ordered it and it was delivered in only a couple of days. If I buy another motorcycle it will have a Utopia on it as well .
The bar cover looks smart. Easy on easy off. Well worth the small extra fee.
If you're reading this, you are likely hesitant like I was to spend your hard earned money on a scooter seat accessory. I am here to tell you, it's totally worth it! I have had it for 2 weeks on my 2022 Suzuki Burgman 400, I have put 1,000 miles on this seat attachment already because it makes the bike so much more comfortable. Installation is a little scary because you have to cut 2 small holes through the seat, it took me all of 15 minutes to install this to my bike. After the scary drilling of my seat, I put the bolts through and tightened them down with no issue, hardware is nice and the plate comes pre threaded for simplicity. There are 2 adjustment points, one at the base of the seat (to help short riders like me 5'7") and one at where the seat and support post meet. The material of the seat matches the stock seat in appearance and the quality of the fabric/leather used feels nice. If you have a stock windshield you know wind likes to sneak past the side of the fairing and push your core back, this backrest relieves that pressure. I have put 300 miles on this backrest in 1 drive (with 1 fuel stop, sub 5 minutes) with no issues. The seat rest does not move on its own due to stress or vibrations, you have to intentionally move it by loosening the bolts adjusting the seat and tightening up the bolts again. Overall this is a 5/5 star product, the only issue I have is it makes the bike so comfortable I ignore my other scoot (2026 Honda ADV160).

Hi Andy, the backrest arrived perfect, your packaging was first class. Fitting was easy and it looks exceptionally good. I’ve been experimenting and I had it too high but now lowered it is great. Takes a while to get used to having ridden without a backrest since 1962. The VAT into the UK was very high but in perspective my dealer charges over £100 for labour and here I have a handmade backrest. Already motorcycling friends are asking where I purchased it etc. Well done on making a great backrest.

Long drives have become much more comfortable. Unlike regular motorcycles, scooters support the body with your hips and back, which makes them even more comfortable. The user interface on the website is well-designed, so even a foreigner like me was able to place an order easily.

This is probably my 3rd Utopia backrest that I have purchased for different bikes that I have owned and I have never been disappointed with any of them. They are always easy to install and look great not mention function really well.
Wow. Truly wirth it. The price seened steep but after receiving the backrest i was simply amazed. I timed the install and couldn’t believe it was on and adjusted in less than 20 minutes. That’s adjusting also. Dang. Great product. 5 stars
I have purchased several back rests from utopia and have never been disappointed. I have back issues and can’t ride without them but to be fair even if I didn’t I’d still get one! They make riding so much better and you can increase the distance of those rides as well. It’s the best accessory you can put on a bike!

I bought this back rest in 2012. It is truly the best back rest ever. It’s totally adjustable which makes long distance riding a joy. I still have the bike and still enjoying the backrest.
To clarify what bolts I was referring to in my original review refer to the upper & lower bolts that connect the seat back to the bracket - not the bracket bolts that bolt to the bike.
As frequent adjustment were made, one of them stripped out, so I installed the grade 8 heavy duty bolts & locking nuts. Now there is no movement whatsoever that can change my set up. Comfort galore! Happy riding.
There is little available when it comes to aftermarket accessories for Victory Visions. It was great to know that Utopia still provides backrests for them and I did not hesitate to purchase when I discovered this. Very pleased with fit and finish.
