All I can say is wow! I have GL1500 Goldwing that I adore. I did not want to lose the very comfortable stock seat. However, I did want to install a backrest. Andy was spectacular from the jump. This is a top tier product at a more than fair price. The quality control and customer service exceeded even my highest expectations. Thank you Andy. I will be ordering one for my VTX very soon.

The finished product is great. Getting the foam out was the challenge. Directions could be a little better, which way the main bar faces. Now that it's done, I would recommend it.

I was looking for something for my lower back pain after riding. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical whenever you see all five star reviews.

Boy was I wrong about being skeptical!
It's almost magical how the improvement is the instant you take off on the bike after installing it!

Instructions were pretty straightforward.

The only area I ran into problems with and sawing the foam, is trying to figure out the 'angle' of the knife to get it to meet up where the bracket drilled holes are underneath! I actually cut a little slit in the plastic underneath just so I was able to see where it was lining up at.

So that was a bit of a bear! But after being persistent and then going for a first ride I could not believe how comfortable it was! It has not been THAT comfortable since I bought the bike!

One other magical improvement for me was :
EVERY SINGLE STOP I come to, they are perfect! All on an even keel!

It started doing that without any effort the instant the backrest was installed!
I do not know if it is from a slight difference in center of gravity from the mass of the backrest making the bike have a perfect cg......
Or
If it's automatically improving the posture of the rider to where he's sitting correctly now and probably not having to put pressure on the handlebars to support his back when he comes to a stop!

Every single one has been perfectly smooth last few days.

So I would like to read if others notice it also? Stops will be smoother and straight upright

I received and installed my backrest onto my 2016 Goldwing. Installation was fairly simple.I took a few rides around the block getting it adjusted, then just got back from a 400 mile day. The backrest is great and recommended far above the OEM. The customer service is superior to most companies I have dealt with.
