“The UTOPIA” Built-in Driver Backrest in material and thread to closely match your stock seat. Can be adjusted up/down as well as forward & back to fit your height and riding position. Pivots while riding for natural position and folds forward to allow passenger to mount & dismount. Easy to install with minimal tools. Available in recommended “Comfort” pad for optimal, long-riding support as well as shorter “Sport” pad.

Installation & Other Info:
  • This model does require that you unstaple and fold back material & foam from seat pan in order to install mounting bracket. When reupholstering, the bar will reveal where you need to cut a small line in the material for the bar to pass through. Please be assured, thousands of riders have installed this without difficulty and the material will not run or fray. Well made

The back rest is well made and provides good back support. Forward/ back adjustment is easy. Instructions were good and install was relatively easy. The only challenge is that my staples had a hard time getting all of the way into the seat base. Most are part way and then bent but are holding the seat cover in place. I don't know if it was the staples, stapler of my technique but would look into this if I were to do it again.
