Just as good as I remembered

I have purchased 2 or 3 of these backrests over the years. It's been years since I last installed one. I always install them myself. Removing the seat cover on the Xmax was a bit more challenging. There were over 140 staples to remove, and after mounting the hardware, 140 staples had to go back in. The mounting of the hardware was very straightforward. The instructions were complete. I would only add, use a grease pencil, and mark the relationship of the seat cover to the base in about four places. That helps to get the seat cover back in its original position. I'm retired and old, so it took me a couple of days to complete the installation. I also had to purchase staples of the correct length (1/4"). Having an air-powered stapler is a must. You have to place so many staples; having the correct stapler is vital. After the installation was finished, it looked very professional and centered perfectly. With the addition of the backrest, the scooter is SO much more comfortable to ride. You're not straining to hold yourself upright, accelerating away from a light. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. These backrests are worth every penny. I recommend them to all my friends.
